Good morning everyone..... and thank you for all of your support, this is great!Day 1 has come and gone, and I'm doing just fine. The last time I bought patches, they were the generic, and I've always said that they are the same as the real deal, except cheaper, well in this case, they are definately not the same as the cheapo patches IĀ used in July, august, ..... Maybe it's also due to the fact that I was really ready this time around, but these news patches really, really works, and the inhaler, wow, unbelievable. I went thru the day, not even thinking about smoking. Well maybe once or twice, lol, but soon got over it, after using the inhaler. I am on the road to be a smoke free person, fantastic.What's new here at DS, Hope all of you are doing good.Good luck to Kristen (angeleyes3) , and HappyBaker on starting tx, the best of luck on your journey. I am here for you both, and all the others who are in need of comfort and support.Have a wonderful day!Mckenzie One day at the time

I am so proud of you mcKenzie for what your doing. you will feel so much better once your done and all the nicotine is out of your system.
My Mom quit when I was in my 20\'s and had more energy after that, then she had in years. Plus, just think of the example for your family!!!
Big Kudos;

I am so glad that this is a positive experience for you. I think the fact that you are not having huge cravings bodes well for the first- and usually hardest- months. Congratulations.
