No rest for the wicked!Yesterday, (2pm) went to pick up my teenage daughter Jade and her friend to go shopping in Cornwall. First I must tell you that the girls are in Hawkesbury which is 30 minutes from our home, but we are going shopping in a small city (Cornwall) which is completely south of where I'm picking them up, so we spent more time riding in the car then shopping. I had put my spedometer on zero upon gasing up the car, and by the time I dropped them off again and finally got home at 10:30pm I had rode for 350kms, I was dead tired. My legs wouldn't follow anymore, I dragged my feet in our house and just laid down on the couch in the living room with Richard who stayed home since he was working during the day and fell asleep right there, I was soo tired. It took everything out of me.Now this morning, I have an appointment at the garage in Alexandria, another small city but a lot closer (20kms) from my home. My car needs a tune up and the clean air service is due, so that will be done and good for another 2 years. Here in Ontario, Canada we have this clean air thing it's to make sure that all cars don't let out any polution out of the exaust system. This is a law here in Ont., every 2 years a car must pass this antipolution test in order to stay on the road. Government = money. I think this law is in Ontario only for now but will eventually be all thru other provinces.So I must be out of here for 9:15am, if by chance I didn't get to your messages I will upon my return. I should be back around 1pm.Hope everyone is doing well and I will definately visit you all when I get back.Later.........

Yu are getting old dear - face it! - last year I drove Hobart-Devonport, 210 miules: I\'d had a fall & left eye was bright red: just after I arrived I lost the sight in it: so no stereo vision. I asked the Terminal people if one of them could put the car on the Ferry for me (I was going to the Mainland & driving up to Canberra)- got looks of absolute horror! No, I\'d have to do it: so had to demand a refund. Had to take motel room (double - no singles $80.00)- turned out to be right under a very new freeway-very little sleep! - next day had to drive back to Hobart. One eyed! (It\'s resolved, but I sure looked fiersome!) I was totally rigid when I drew up outside my back door: left everything in the car except handbag. Lesson - I\'m too old to drive long dist. by myself. Sad - I\'d love to do the grey-nomad thing & drive right round the wonderful land of Oz. -I\'ve driven (co) across from Indian Ocean to Pacific: over 2,300 miles. I can talk in kms, but it confuses Usayans!(Peace for the majority -Canada was bringing in degreesC & had weights written in both when I was there - seems conversion is complete - how confusing for all those tourist from over the boarder - the conversion is 2.2acres to the hecatre, 1.62km per mile - sorry - can\'t think of any more I\'m too tired. Mckenzie - don\'t offer todo tha again - it\'s so tiring, even for the totally fit! - besides, it\'s the other kid\'s parent\'s turn next. I had to go thru\' the Registry of M.Vehicles in Canberra every year - they checked everything! was a half-day project. Now I am told it is each 2nd. year until car turns 7-then it\'s back to every year - we are very slack here. People still drive w\'out seatbelts! you need a massage Mckenzie; - or hot water & plenty of it! Stay well, JaneD.
Went for my appointment, got there 10 minutes pass my appointment and the young customer service guy was a real jerk with me due to the fact that I was a little late.
Man if he didn\'t know me then, he knows me now, I was soo upset, and told him off..... bad customer service, should have went to my dealership, ect....
Finally left the car there, by the time I came back from purchasing stuff from the main store, maybe 15 minutes later, the car was ready, like he spent more time complaining and getting sh.t from me, than the whole job itself, lol.
For once my hubby didn\'t tell me to ease down, I have a very strong caractor, and Richard is soft, so whenever I know I am in the right I go at it, and he usually tells me to calm down, but not this time and I was proud of him.
Anyhoo, the job is done, and I\'m good for another 2 years, like my car is practically brand new, I new it would pass the test, so I\'m good.
Paid the man and he had a completely different attitude. lol
Now I\'m dead tired and going to lay down and relax for awhile and will check in later.......
It\'s getting late here, will try to lay down and think of nothing for awhile, lol, yea right!
I do lay down and watch cable until 1 or 2am every night, and get up at 5am, I need to start my anti\'s again.
Lack of sleep, means lack of memory (brainfog) and crying at the drop of the hat.
