It was bound to happen.Both Richard and I have head colds.The worst symptom I get from a head cold is the major headaches. I have this special steroids spray for my nose for whenever this happens to me. We are both on advil cold medication. Richard is much stronger than I, and he'll probably be fine by morning. Hopefully I will too, but with my immune system, it will drag on a few days more.It was nice to have him home with me all weekend. He was way more calm and attentive. We went out a couple of times over the last 2 days, it was nice. Last night I went to see our daughter bring her money for a all day concert in Montreal today.Unfortunately all good things comes to an end. Richard is back to work, and won't have another time off till 10 days, unless it rains or something he'll have a few hours in between shifts.Went to visit my parents last night, they were happy to see us. Like we live only a few miles (Km), away but we never visit, so they were reall glad we had stopped in.My dad has problems with his legs, and bought himself a nice golf caddy, I'm glad he did, they usually go to Music Festivals so this way he's got his wheels to travel around the camping area.Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Temperature here has been very nice, if it wouldn't be for the humidity, it would be perfect.Still trying to get Richard to go to Mexico for the Christmas Holidays. He does not like to travel, and I love it. I try to explain to him that it would come pretty much even if we would take this trip, instead of buying gifts and food, ect.... Who knows maybe he'll change his mind.I'm watching this crazy show, has anyone ever watched HELL DATE, it's soo funny. Ok need to go back to putting away my laundry and finish up the rooms.Later....................

I know what you mean about a holiday get away. I have been planning to do that for years, You know change the party from my house to my own party away from THE PARTY. Although now the kids have kids and they still depend on me to make the meals. shop wrap cook UGH AND IT\'S RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER AGAIN... Hope you feel better very soon. Love D

Rotten luck getting cold in summer - with the heat they are worse! We caught 11 diff. URTI\'s & \"Rheume\" (my bloke was v.sick, so knocked up the fella next door-his wife refused to speak english-she can-& Ottawa had lost us-meaning we had no Provincial Health Care cards (actually they were called Sickness Fiches - which is more honest.) Owner of house left us long typed screed -I knew he was a Dr. -hubby had just come back from New Guinea -was in area where malaria which affects the brain is endemic. I was really scared. Turns out he\'s a neurologist - he came straight over & did lots of tests on him, & pronounced that \"he had a rheume\" - we\'d bought a Robert Dictionary, so looked it up. My one big scare! Bet your family were glad to see you -and that buggy idea is really good (will order one for 2010!). Being mobile is so important. Last dose of antibiot. tonight: turns out Bactrin has side- effects - quote - \"causes sore mouth & gums!\" No wonder I was thinking I\'m getting nowhere. So far, no oral thrush! Fingers crossed. Should be up & washing tomorrow. Take care now, JaneD.
