Celebrated Richard's birthday last night. Got home from work at 8:30pm, so shower and changed and off we went to our favorite restaurent. Alex our friend from Mexico came with us. We had a great meal, but it was really late by the time we got home, so we went straight to bed. Finally called in to see if any of the money owed to me by the government was coming in soon. Great News! On the 20th of august they will finally deposit over 3129.00$. I was pretty happy. Then called the UIC to see if my benefit claim was accepted and it was, and they deposit 400.00$ in my account at midnight last night. So I am entitled for an additional 26 weeks of benefits. This will help tremendously. I am soo used to have my own money and now being sick and all, can't go back to work for now anyways, so this will tie me up until December. YesssssssssssMaking new friends here and loving it!Have a great weekend everyone.

GREAT NEWS, WE GOT OURS IN A LUMP SUM AS WELL. OH THE FEEING OF RELIEF.IT\'S JUST NICE TO KNOW WE HAVE EMERGENCY FUND LOVE D STILL TYPING WITH LEFT HAND. THIS SHOULDER IS GETTING ME DOWN. HATE ASKING FOR HELP LOVE D
Hi there Mackenzie - so glad you had a good night out-I think that\'s best thing for stress. Your man\'s b\'day is my wedding anniversary - not that I\'m celebrating! All that lovely lump sum! What bliss! You do have a menagerie to feed don\'t you? - but you get eggs, etc. Dear Mackenzie: your 1800lb BULL - well, how do I put this gently - he just isn\'t. He\'s an OXE (singular for Oxen-just to avoid confusion). I\'d be a bit concerned if I were your husband: having an 1800lb. playful hunk of potentially angry potroast! Can you share him with neighbours? I do fruit preserving, & with half side of Lamb (no longer available now-shipped to the Middle East live-v.cruel business)there\'s not a lot of room left for fruit in top half of fridge: MY uncle killed a steer when I stayed with them as teenager - half sent to bloke next door: and we ate prime cuts the whole week -it was a dairy farm, so he\'d keep 3 or 4 sturdy bull carves. I stayed & watched - I think I was quite callous. Couldn\'t keep the hide -too many rats! That\'s a problem when you\'ve had over 200 shipwrecks on a small Island! They really do desert sinking ships. Am amazed at your collection - if I ever get back to Quebec, I should love to call in & meet you - and see all these critters.
Sister & I bought 2 wee ducks, & made a pool for them: neighbour called in & told us they wouldn\'t last 2 days - the ravens would get them: so we donated them to him - as he had chicken houses. Wow - you were both brave & foolhardy to intervene in a fight:- so you lost 3 teeth. That was an awful way to loose them. Did you get any victims compensation? - We used to have such a scheme, but the State Govt. have just abolished it - petty really: they are too busy with their big business pals: another huge paper pulp mill to be built next year - running on virgin hardwood forests for the first few years. Premier is in the pocket of Managing Director - even supplied him with a heritage listed house (c.1819) from the National Trust. We\'ve been told they use a lot of water (we\'ve had drought for 6 years-and run mostly on Hydro power. Am thinking this isn\'t going to be a healthy place. They are using 19thC chlorine bleaching, tho\' at first denied it. Should use up-to-date oxygen bleach. More expensive, but not harming the environment- as it is, they will be sending thousnads of gallons of water with dioxins and furans into the Strait bet. us & mainland -a rich fishing area. As taloola says - I\'m out to fight the world! - only that bit that does stupid things, like ignore the parts of environmental reports they don\'t happen to like!. All the carbon released into the air....Oh! I\'m getting old. I must go to bed. Enjoy the luxury of the lump sum - & then steady income whilst you are fit to work. Best regards (yawn) JaneD.
