August 2nd, my hubby's birthday.

Hopefully he won't be too, too late, I want to bring him out for supper.

Lately he leaves at 6am and don't come back until 8pm, and when he is home, he has to care for his animals, cut the grass until 10pm, (gives the green grass from the basket of his lawnmower to the animals). Most summers he doesn't punch in until late at night. Then there Jade, she's been keeping busy, camping, shows, sleepovers at friends, most of the summer, so I'm pretty much home alone all the time. A good thing I'm a loner. lol

If all goes well money wise, I am buying this motorbike. This way I can just pick up and go ride in the fresh air.  smiley-cool.gif

Today I need to go thru the budget, and am planning on buying some Chantix, apparently those pills do wonders for people who wants to quit smoking. I'm doing great, but if I have someone over who smokes, I get tempted and most times I cmoke one. So it's a must.

Trying to keep a possitive attitude.

Hope you all have a pain and side free day.

Later....................Mac smiley-undecided.gif

Soon the money you\'re saving on cigarettes will help buy the Chantix. I am on day 23! Will write you soon. It\'s just been too hot and between going to the MD and laying up in the only room with the a/c I\'ve been off line.

Hello there,
I\'ll give you a tip - just ban smoking in the house until you are past the worst. I used to go outside whilst the other person smoked, so I could keep up the conversation: but then, there were only 2 who did smoke by then!. The tablets are on the national health here, but the patches cost -about 35 dollars. I hope the bridges in your area are all solid! That collapse was horrendous. Ours went down in l975 - 19 people died. A ship was left on auto-pilot, & didn\'t clear the space between the pylons. Dad was driving to newly created ferry terminal (they\'d given up a regular service years before) & waiting over half-hour for ferry - all sorts of craft we brought into service: I had had inter-uterine death, and had to cross on the punt upstream to get to hosp for a D & C. It was total chaos. there\'s nothing like the smell of smoke when you are quitting - it does nothing for the resolve.Feeling OK, but stitch fell out of gums, so having to disinfect every time I eat or drink. Dreading the cost of lower denture (that\'s NOT on Nat.Health Insurance). How many animals do you have over there? My dad used to breed horses: Standardbred. When he died there wasn\'t enough grass to feed 1, so I lost my young mare (they tell me they found a good home for her) - my sister was lucky, hers was in foal, and a bloke from the Mainland bought her: told her he\'d give her 250 extra once the pregnancy was confirmed - much it our amazement, he actually did pay the extra. The types that hang around the Pacing scene are a pretty sad lot in this State - I wouldn\'t trust any of them. Bitter experience. I hope the heat isn\'t getting to you. Best wishes JaneD.
