Hope everyone is having a good day, on this first day of August.
The temperature here today, in Ontario, Canada, is really warm and humid, not too good for my COPD & Emphysema, but it's cool in here with the AC on, 17 celcius or 66 degrees, so I'm good.

So far my day is going well, Richard is gone till tonight, I'm home alone, but have a lot to do.
Also less tempted to smoke, damn it's hard to quit.

Finally finished washing the whole kitchen, it's hugue, so it's a great accomplishment for me, took me a week, lol.

Finally received my first report of UIC benefits, finally will get some money in.
Being off work really suck, I always had my own money, which is why I find it soo hard not being able to work.
Next time I see my specialist, I will inquire about getting my disability pension, never know apparently it's easy to get if you have lung disease.
My brother was diagnosed with emphysema also, a few years back, he was only 39 at the time, and got his pension.
I'm a lot worst than he is, so I don't see why I wouldn't be accepted.
I will get the ball rolling on this in September, because with all of the different payments, for the mortgage, snowmobile, four wheeler, my new car that I had bought when I first started working for Bell.
That's not counting, cable, 2 land line, 3 cellulars, electricity, the list goes on and on.
Still have 3 years to pay 3 years on the car itself, so my income is a must.

My cousin Nancy just dropped in, she brought back a rothweiller I had gave to my nephew a few months back, I guess he couldn't keep it at the new place he moved to.
Oh well I know a bunch of dogs outside that are happy about that, they are all playing together.

I need to go pick up my daughter tonight, she's at her boyfriends camping site.
I tell ya this girl had a beautiful, fun summer.
Next year she will be 16, and will find a summer job.
Sixteen is soon enough for a young person to start working, they will work enough in their lifetime, I say.

I need to attack my washroom now, it's the smallest room so since it's getting late in the day, I will do that room for now.

Hope everyone is having a side and pain free day.

One day at the time

Hi Yes Im sure you will get your benefits my hubby did. Anyway he is pacing today because his VA check did not come.. It\'s not like we are going to starve. but he has PTSD and any little thing throws him. it is impossible to keep him still. I wish they would give him anxiety pills. sounds like you have done well with the housework. wish i had the energy. You must have a big yard for the pets. We do too but the upkeep is getting to me. Sometime I wish we lived in a condo with no yard. but then again it\'s nice to go outside once in awhile. I know what a struggle it is with the smoking.. I think worse then any drug on earth.. Just remember you are doing well and one day there gone for good Love D

Hi , You have more energy then I , just a lite dusty and vacuuming and I am pooped out, You go girl, My wall could use a nice washing down, I was able to get my DA insurance basically because of Fibro, but the Hep C did play a role, It just takes a really long time in our state, I think it was like 3 years before the checks started coming in, I do wish you much luck with that,I think it depends if your Dr, will back you, And Medical evidence, You have all that now , I didn\'t when I started, I\'m here for you ! Prayers and hugs Dear friend,

Hi there,
Not a financial counsellor - but I reckon you might have to do a bit of rationalizing on the expenses: I know it\'s so bloody hard when one looses own salary; I did after 3rd. & hated being dependent on mean ex. I\'d go for the Soc.Security if I were you - you need time for yourself. Expect pain free day on Sat.You are so energetic. Better rush off again (won\'t do this in the morning again-my Dept.Aged CAre cleaner has just arrived! (1 whole hr. per fortnight-big deal: you should see the literature they put out: promising to do everything-it\'s just waffle. This Fed. Govt. has GOT TO GO!Don\'t overdo the housework, JaneD.
