TGIF------- Thank God it's Friday-------Date night, I love spending a good 2 hours at our favorite restaurant every friday night. We do take the time to speak with our friends, which one of them is the owner of the resto, so my hubby knows everyone. So by the time we leave we must have spoken with over 10 people we know. It's a very small city that my hubby grew up in, so since he knows everyone they are happy to see him, since we live far enough from his hometown. Always interesting to see who is where now in their lives ect...... We also buy the local paper so we are updated on the new politians, and the renovation done to the town. Upon our return we usually stop by my son's house to visit a bit and see what plans they have for the weekend. Since they live soo close to us now, we love doing BBQ's with them, they also have a great swimming pool, which I just might start enjoying with my daugher in law during the week days, when the boys are working.I have been doing all kinds of things that I haven't done in years, well since my interferon treatment. It's as if I am finally getting over doing the chemo medication. It took my husband one year to get over the meds, as for myself, I've had to deal with many new arising health issues that I always thought the chemo meds has awaken in my body. But I finally feel much better, with the new diagnosed of COPD and emphecima, and chronic pain, but I guess I wll continue to take medication for these issues and start living again.Yesterday I went out with my daughter, brought her to her hairdresser, and then went to visit my middle brother Johnny, then my parents, then my son and daughter in law. For once I finally went to visit them all and manage to do this and felt good about it. Since my treatment, I never go anywhere, so this is just another sign that I am getting better from doing tx.I am also cleanning the wall and ceillings in the house, another thing I wouldn't have been able to do before, feel soo good that I can actually accomplish so much in one day.Now it's friday, enjoy your weekend, and make sure you do something with your better half, it's does keep the relationship fresh and happy.Communication is the key to a great relationship, we have been together for a long time and we never get bored of each other.Have a great weekend my friends.Mckenzie One day at the time
