Hello dear friends.
Another beautiful day down here.
We live on a 100 acres farm, so we have no neighbours, just tractors working the fields.
Richard is busy, from 5am to 8pm since the weather has been so nice to us.
Early next month will be the time to go pick up wild garlic.
They usually are good to pick up from May 01, to May 14.
If a person has some on their land they are lucky, they can make lots of money selling gallons.
Last year the gallons in Montreal, went for 80$/gallon, so that's big buck to the ones who takes the whole 2 weeks and pick them up.
I remember one year I made 1200.00 easy, just sitting at home cleaning it, Richard would pick it, deliver the feedbags, and go back to pick.
Of course, like everything else that helps people who needs to make money on the slide, it is illegal in Quebec.
Ontario is not as bad, unless a person goes on a land without permission.
Our daughter is still sick, at home, in bed.
Jade went to school yesterday, but upon her return she had a light supper and straight to bed.
You would think the antibiotics would work, well they did the next day she sort of felt better, but having to go out and it has been so windy lately, she returns with the ear ache every time.
Hope it gets better.
Tomorrow night, my sisters and I are going shopping in Montreal, I have a wedding to attend on the 14th of may.
Richard's brother is getting married.
These days actual weddings are so rare, it's gonna be different to go to the whole formal thing.
I've been feeling pretty good lately.
I am using the 3 different inhalers prescribed and they are really cleaning up my lungs.
I got a call for my CT Scan, which is on May 11th, then the machine that measures the strenght of the lungs, that test is May 2nd.
Now the scan for my sciatic nerve and spine is whenever I present myself, so it's gonna be one of the above dates, cause it's all in the same city.
Then the whole lung results file is going to Ottawa to my new lung doctor.
Oh yes my PCP has an appointment for me also, he will give me the overall results then if they are all in.
That appt will be on June 13th, I think???
That's about it for today.
Hope your having a good week.
Mckenzie

Sounding might busy, But I do know the farming life, My hubby is gone 12 yours at least everyday, He lives breathes and loves this farm, It is a great way of living I hate town life, even the small towns suck, to much gossip, and crime, I know waiting for results and test are so nerve racking, Are you having problems with conjections & shortness of breathe, garlic is suppose to be healthy for you, I do like to cook with it some, Hoping to get potatoes in soon or it is going to be way to late, already way behind schedule. Hope Jade is well soon, Prayers and hugs to you and the family Take CAre & God Bless
