well finally Penndot is doing something to our road only after so many deaths...a lot of people complaining oh it will tie traffic road rage who are they kidding there is already road rage.....anyway it is something...... well I have tried counseling, didnt help me much, not when he tells me oh I have been told losing your child is the worst..no sh__! but compassionate friends have been wonderful..they know exactly how I feel and always are there even if to just listen...I expect the pain will lesson but I dont ever think I will be filled with Joy , I don think that could ever happen there will always be the what ifs and I wonder whats....well thats life.... i honestly dont think a counselor who hasnt been what we have been thru should even be counseling about this. i guess thats why compassionate friends is helpful. they get it. hugs to you.
That\'s so true... it\'s difficult to understand unless you have been through what we have been through to \"get it\". It\'s so incredibly painful to lose the HOPE we once had, the DREAMS we never have fulfilled... but thankfully we have people at CF and here on DS that understand those feelings and we are here to hug each other and help each other. I\'m glad they are doing something about the road. I\'m sorry to hear the counseling isn\'t working. I know if you don\'t get someone you can \"click\" with, it is a struggle. Believe me, I\'ve been to many that I could give the counseling too. I\'m glad you have compassionate friends. The group here is too far from us so that is when I found this site. A life saver it has been. I do think you will find joy again. It will be different because your life is different not but it can still be good. Thinking of you. Love Robin
