Ok Holiday over, thank goodness... my brother flew in from Florida ,that was nice we had a nice visit, kept the emotions in till after Easter dinner, then had a little melt down, I just miss Ashley so much...now back to work, wish I didnt have to! I is hard enough getting out of bed each day let alone having to get to work.... on another note,Kate went to a job interview Mon and got the job! yes , now to get her working papers, at least she will now get out of the house a few hrs each day instead of sitting in front of the tv all night,we will see, it has to get better, her room is gross, I am just learning to shut the door, why get myself upset if she wants to live like a slob , ....we are doing a room for her sister ,in the attic she wants her own room and now Kate of course is saying its not fair, why does she get a new room?? then she wanted to move Lauren out of her room ,which she shares with Theresa, when she moves in the attic, I said no way you are not destroying another room, of course not fair ,so much for being the oldest etc etc. well if she did something to help out and took care of what she has then maybe but I am not letting her ruin that room too.....maybe this job will teach her some responsibility???maybe.....well keep trying to tell myself I have to go on , yet this hole in my heart is ssssoooo big, I feel so empty, God how one person could change everything!!!

Amen to that....The holidays are the most painful time of all...I just want to crawl in a hole and hide. I am starting to actual like Groundhog Day now...because I can have the deepest envy for that little critter getting to go back and hide for another year!! I hope that the hole in your heart gets filled with wonderful memories to warm your heart, and I hope that the pain eases up a little for you, and I\'m sending you a GI-normous hug (did you know they actually made that a word now..in the dictionary...GI-NORMOUS???) Go figure ....:)

After reading many journal entries, I think we all had a difficult time this Easter season. I think it\'s spring and that signifies \"new life\" and we are still so saddened with the loss in our lives. I had a very hard time the past few days. My son that died was a neat freak. He knew if anything was moved even a centimeter in his room. How he knew I\'ll never know. My next son is like your daughter. Slob is the word I think you used. He will live out of the clothes hamper and leave dirty dishes and his wrappers anywhere. He\'ll even shower and come in my room looking for clean clothes and leave his wet towel and under clothes on my floor!!! I\'ve tried to put my dirty clothes on his floor and leave garbage on his dresser all to no avail (lol). He showers and his hygeine is good so what\'s up? Funny you can raise them the same yet so different. Just keep closing her door, sooner or later (hopefully) they\'ll get sick of living like that. Good luck, I need some too. I have been off for five days now and have to go back to work tomorrow and I\'m dreading it, but the distractions are always helpful. Hope you find some smiles this week. Thinking of you. Love Robin

Kala was perfect in many ways....keeping her room clean was NOT one of them. After Torrey moved out, Kala took over his room too. It then became two rooms of complete disaster. Like you I just kept both doors shut and allowed her to live in the mess. Kala was responsible and organized on the job and at school, but boy was her space at home a tornado zone! Congratulations to Kate on the new job!! I hope she likes it. I\'m sure it will be a good thing for all of you.
Thinking of you always,
Teri

Weston was a slob when he lived at home. I just kept his door closed and told him as long as the mess and stink didn\'t come out of the room he could live anyway he wanted. I did however, refuse to go in to get dirty clothes, so he had to do his own laundry. Now I\'m glad I didn\'t make a battle out of the mess.
