Another week gone bymade it thru Kaitlyn's 16th birthday, I wasnt sure how it was going to be, another event her big sister wont see, I have been feeling so depressed lately so down I try to find the good in each day but it has become so hard the pain seems to take over.. I said I hated my life then my 12 yr old Theresa said well imĀ a part of your life and I felt terrible.. it all is so unfair, so many emotions to deal with....keep trying to replay this whole thing in my mind maybe by some chance it will change?? but when I open my eyes ,it didnt....we got the call from our lawyer, the other driver was put at fault by his insurance ,should I feel better? it doesnt bring her back I think I just get more angry at him, he didnt even say anything he took a life and never bothered about saying im sorry nothing......well just feel so numb anymore..just wishing my life away.......

Amazing how the guilty never say \"I\'m sorry\". And darling, you don\'t hate your life. You hate what happened to Ashley. Talk to Theresa, explain your heart, she\'s old enough. Perhaps, if you don\'t already do this, you and Theresa could spend some time being alone together. Set aside time to talk to her, really talk. About anything and everything. Be honest with her and she\'ll be honest with you and you\'ll be amazed at how the relationship will grow even more special than it already is. Allow yourself to enjoy the good parts of your life. And you have many. You know this is true. Myself, I have to make a conscience decision each and everyday to find something to smile about. To find something to share with Kala. To find something positive in my life. To find something worth staying on planet earth for. And you know what? I do.
I hope you know how much you mean to me and I hope you know I\'m always here for you.
Smiling with Kala,
Teri
I\'m so sorry for your pain. Life requires great effort on our part now. It\'s a struggle but we can\'t change things only try with great fortitude to find some joy in the life we still live. As Teri said above, there is still life worth living. Look down deep. Keep positive for your other girls. Your Ashley will always be in your heart and will guide you along the way. Thinking of you. Love Robin
I\'m dealing with the same thing with the driver of the SUV that killed my son. She has never even sent a card or anything. I\'m tempted to send her the article about what a wonderful young man Weston was, but would it do any good? Probably not. It might make me feel better though. I\'ll think about it. Here for you anytime you need me! Cyn
