Went to church today , my girls are giving me such a hard time going anymore, especially Theresa my 11 yr old, She hears me say I upset w/god and also doent understand why god didnt answer her prayers ,she prayed so hard for her sister, came to the hospital w/Ashley's bible and read to her. Its so hard I have been thinking of going to another church Im really not happy w/mine anymore. I was brought up catholic and all my girls are catholic but my religion hasnt helped me, A few friends told me I should go somewhere else ,He goes to some church and says its very inspirational and not the up and down of a catholic church,My priest didnt even try to really talk to us, he just asked oh how are things at home I know what I wanted to say, I was so upset,I guess they are only human but he definately isnt a compassionate priest. who knows maybe I will try the other.I dont like sitting thru the sermon anymore I had to get up and leave one day I couldnt stand hearing that god is a good and merciful god if he is why did he take my 17 yr old daughter? anyway today wasnt a particulary good day I felt like crying all day But I didnt . I cant stand it,then my 15 yr old came home today she went w/my husbands brother ,he said some things I thought my husband was going to have a heart attack,He seems to think he knows everything about kids and wants to give us advice ,told me I should just let go of Ashley and get on with my life basically I was so mad !!!Its bad enough we have to try and survive day to day and it seems everything is falling apart.I miss Ashley so much my heart aches ,I want to see her again and hear her voice..

I dont blame you for being mad. I also have had family members say that 6 months is long enough to grieve. I will grieve the rest of my life for Michelle. The days might get easier, but I will still grieve. Pam

Dear one,
My husband also wants me to get one with life. Day before yesterday I told him things were going to fast for my daughter; removing Branden\'s things out of the house he rented from us. He said I can make her a temple she can sit in all day. I was so hurt.
This isn\'t a good day and I don\'t hide it very well. Why can\'t people share our grief?

I would be beyond mad. NOONE BUT NOONE has any right to tell another person to just let go. THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT ON GRIEF. I will miss my Mandee until I get to heaven and can see her again. Linda

I miss my ashley so much too. I would deffinately try a small family like church if possible. I live in a small town and we have is a little church, but its like a family and everyone is very supportive. I dont think i would be able to handle a cold environment. dont listen to advice that makes you feel bad. you need to do what ever you want and grieve how ever you want. who cares what other people say. I know thats not always easy to do though. I also take other peoples comments to personal at times. I want my baby back too. take care
