I cannot believe it has been so long since I have been on here! I went back to work Aug 2013 and was so focused on getting back to normal...well what is normal for me now that I forgot about this wonderful group. Not cool at all!
I am 8 months out from my multiple pulmonary emb. And I just had a CTA and a D dimer along with all kinds if other tests....they all came out normal except for a round mass like area in my lung...more than likely damage from one of the PE's. they want me to stay on Coumadin till June...my one year mark. I have to say being on Coumadin has not been fun....my stomach is extremely sensitive to it and if I am high in my numbers than my stomach lets me know. I still have pains off and on mainly on my left side but I hear that can be normal. I really want to come off the Coumadin but I am scared also....but goodness the joint pain and my weight has gone up and the doctors are telling me not to try to reduce because that can affect the levels also... Grrrrrrr!
