Good Morning.
Finally we were able to go to Dallas to see our grand son. Last time we saw him he was 14 months old and now he is three and a half. We had a great time with him but he does not know I am grandma. He calls me you guy. Maybe someday he will know I am his grandma.
We returned to find a letter in the mail telling my husband he was fired. He is an auditor and the company decided to eliminate outside auditors working from home. Four people lost their jobs. Bad timing in our household because we are still trying to sell a home. It has now been on the market over 2 years. We are getting a few people looking but no offers. Since we put it on the market we have dropped the price 140 thousand dollars. I am sure near future will be challenging for us with my husband not working. He is 67 now and with the job market as it is he probably will not go back to work. I am thankful I still am working. With two homes to pay for it may be time to start taking a little money from our retirement fund. Still have a lot of thinking, planning and all will work out just fine for us.

It looks like you are facing some big challanges. I can\'t imagine dropping your house price so much and still not being able to sell it. I hope your husband can draw some unemployment for awhile. It won\'t be the same as working but would help some. It was good to see your grandson I know. Life can be difficult but I am glad you have a job. Take care.

I know how you feel about your grandson. My grandson is also 3 1/2 years old and he lives 3000 miles away. We do video conference calls through skype once a week or so. That way he at least sees us and hears our voice.
I feel for you guys economically. Hang in there. Somehow, we all manage to get through tough times then we look back and say \"how did I do it?\". God will be with you guys.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. This loss of job for my husband is one more of life\'s challenges. We are working on things and with a little unemployment money and the wonderful support from friends we will face the challenges ahead of us.
