HELP!!!  I am at a standstill in my treatment for lymes disease and I do not know what to do.  I just saw a Dr at Scott & White in Temple Tx today and I felt like it was a horrible visit.  I explained to him my history, symptoms etc and he shot down that I had lymes, and said that my symptoms did not come from lymes......I had highlighted a print off that showed how many (almost all) of the things I had been dealing with that were shown on a possible lymes article, not to mention that my Dr here in town had a  test done and it came back positive for lymes. I was mainly going there for a second opinion on treament and basicially I feel like I am at square one again.  He wanted to do another lymes test and a whole bunch of other ones.  After examining me, he told me to get dressed, go to the front desk and they would tell me where to go.  That was it, no bye, discussion of future possible anything..........just come back next week for the results.  I will be getting those over the phone  though since it is few hours away and I do not want to miss anymore work.

There were some things that he threw out there that made me nervous about his view on lyme's disease.  He said the bacteria is killed vey easily, it doesn't hide out in ones cells, there's not such a thing as chronic lymes disease etc.........so what is the truth on this disease, I'm confused, upset, tired and I feel defeated today.
