I am so frustrated.  I don't know what to do or where to turn.  My Drs office is dragging their butt on having my records faxed to another Drs office where I was hoping to have a second opinion on my current lymes situation.  I went back to my regular Dr yesterday because I have been feeling so bad to try to talk to him and throw ideas out there and I was pretty much shut down.  I mentioned the possibility of being coninfected and he didn't even respond to that, I mentioned the possibility of needing another kind of antibiotic because certain strains respond in different ways and he pretty much shot that down with me as well.  He said the next step would be intravenous antibiotics but he wants me to take 10 days of steroids he said because he has found that is a way to "cheat" with lymes disease.  It helps to fight the inflammation going on in my body.  Everything I am reading is don't do it.  He seems to think because it is not long term use that it will  not have negative effects.  I am just so tired and I feel so horrible, am I crazy for questioning  his course of treatment I know I'm not a Dr but I just feel like he is not really listening to me.
