Hey everyone! Haven't journaled in about a week, so I figured I would get everybody caught up on the happenings.
I've been trying to stay on the sanity bandwagon. It's hard and I had a meltdown two days ago, but I'm hanging on for dear life. I'm trying.
Last night was TERRIBLE, I literally got NO sleep and just tossed and turned. I kept replaying things I should not be replaying over and over in my head. So right now as I type this in the library I'm exhausted as all hell.
I'm hanging out with my friend in a half hour or so. We're going to head back to my house before our 4:30 class. She's the only real friend I've made so far except for this sweet girl in my geography class, but we haven't hung out yet. It's still not the same as my high school friends but she seems to be going through a similar time as me and I like her a lot, she's nice and I think we could be good friends.
What else...I got an A on my first History quiz. There are 30 kids in the class and 12 got A's, so I guess it's not all that impressive, but still, at least I wasn't one of the ones who didn't get an A. With the amount of time I spend working I sure as shit better be getting A's. I do nothing but work and go on the Internet. I'm trying to branch out.
Oh, and I met my soul sister on this site- Michelle (Undoubtedlybroken) is literally my twin in Colorado. We're both musicians, bisexual and animal lovers. We've been skyping every night and she's such an awesome friend, I always feel better knowing I have her to go to! The plane tickets to see each other would cost SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS (Please, I'M not even worth that much...), but the good news is train tickets only cost two hundred, so if we split the cost it wouldn't be too bad. Maybe sometime during winter break, or a little later, we'll have a visit planned. =)
I guess that's all for now-trying to take it a moment at a time. Don't wanna think too much or else I'll get depressed. Hope all is well with everyone! xo
