So I have a busy next few days.

Tomorrow: mini-golfing/bumper boating. We were gonna go Thursday but switched it because one of my friends has to work. So I have to wake up fairly early for that.
Thurday: Therapy. Haven't been in awhile, I don't know that I particularly want to talk.
Friday: Blueberry picking with my friend and brother and his friend.
Saturday: Work 11-5, then running over to Milford for a family soiree. And by soiree I mean disorganized chaos. I really don't know how I feel about this little shindig my Aunt sprung on all of us.
She is my great aunt and kind of the leader of our family, and her youngest son just got out of jail. He is bipolar like me, but he always is constantly snorting every drug he finds, and he got in a fight with a minor and poked him with a knife or something. I don't even know. Because of his previous records of drug selling and assault/battery, he went to jail. My family is fucked up. I love my Uncle but he makes me really nervous, he always has and he is just so volatile. Nobody in my family wants to go to this thing. All my other aunts and uncles are all dreading it. It's going to be everyone smushed around a table while people try not to kill each other or themselves. My Aunt will dictate everything and comment on how much weight I lost, I'll binge and purge like a mofo at the buffet, my mother will drink all the alcohol there, my father will hide, my aunts and uncles will yell and laugh and ask me about college. I am getting more and more excited for this. Not.

Sorry for this rant, I just am crappy and I have never gotten along well with my mother. I usually don't even talk about it, but she's been getting more and more on my nerves.

Family...don\'t ya just love em!!! All I can say as you know what to expect just ride the wave...may be you can have a laugh in your head when they do their \'predictable\' thing...I don\'t know what your humour is like, I do it every time I visit mam now, I\'m not saying my stress levels don\'t explode out of the roof but I have started to see that you can\'t change them so it\'s time to be kinder to myself and roll with it on \'that\' way... Sorry if it\'s no use, it\'s just may way xxx hope you have a good week xxx

I wouldn\'t even go, if I was you. I know that -- gasp!!!! -- not attending such family events when commanded to is just not done!!!!! But I wouldn\'t do it anyway, so what do you think of THAT!!!!?
I\'d plead sickness, if I didn\'t have the nerve to just say \'No, I don\'t want to go and I\'m not going to.\'
You ARE sick. You\'ve got Bipolar Disorder and putting yourself through stress like that is NOT good for you and may make you sicker!!! You\'ve already decided in advance that you plan to binge and purge while you\'re there. That\'s another reason to avoid get togethers like this.
Whether you\'re going to go or not, it might be a good subject to discuss when you go to your therapy!!! Maybe you can work out some strategies to put in place so the emotional hit that you take by going to that soiree can be kept to a minimum.
It was very hard for me to do, the first few times I refused to attend things like this. And it was met with a certain amount of anger, too. They tried to force me to go. But once you dig in your heels and don\'t go for a few times running, they eventually give up. Because what else can they do?
Then you can just be known as the \'nut\' who doesn\'t attend family get togethers!!!
Even if refusing to go is beyond your doing right now, at least consider it as a possibility in the future. One of the cool parts of growing up is that you get to make your own choices, even if others don\'t agree with them!!!
I hope that it turns out to go more smoothly than you fear!!! Sometimes, things go better than we expect!!!!
Maybe try to think about getting through the day without binging and purging. It\'s not written in stone that you have to indulge in that behavior, even if that what\'s always happened in the past!!!
All the rest of your plans sound fun, anyway!!!! Especially blue-berry picking!!! Yum!!!! It\'s hard to get good blueberries around here!!! I miss them!!!!
Have fun!!! And try not to get sucked into family craziness!!! So many of us know exactly what you\'re talking about, LOLOL!!!! (((((Hugs)))))
