Hello all!
Things are insanely busy...rehearsals, AP summer assignments that I should be starting and that are making me totally anxious, maintaining relationships with friends and family, singing at a few gigs I got...it's nuts!
At my last vocal cocnert, I was asked by the pianist, an esteemed member of the musical community and an incredible musician himself, to perform a song he wrote at his church. It's called "Here Comes the Silence" and it's very beautiful. To be asked by a songwriter to sing one of their songs is a high honor, it means they heard your vocie and pictured you giving lfie to their creations. I was very flattered and am very excited.
A small mishap- I pruged the other day. I can't even explain why I did it, but we were out to eat after rehearsal, my grandparents and I, and I ate SO MUCH, I just mindlessly did it. I'm not too bummed, I'm trying to move on, and it's not a daily thing so that's good.
