I don't have much to say today but I am tired of seeing the same post from myself and I am still hesitating from reading too much of the boards although today has been a lot more pink than the greys of the last few days. I have a bionic nose. It is incredible. I smell EVERYTHING!! One of my dogs smells sooo bad to me, I will not let her on the couch with me. My DH says it's me and she is not stinky but I just wish he would wash her because I seem to not want to move too much on my days off so I can save up my energy for work days. Seriously, it takes 5 minutes to wash and dry my dog. I will probably do it....later. I am going to the doctor with my mom tomorrow to find out what her surgery next week will be like. I know that I will be moving in with her when she gets out of the hospital to take care of her but I don't know how long she will be in the hospital. And then, I have to figure out when to have my brother come out so that I don't completely abandon my husband and career. I wish she would move in with us but saying that over and over again isn't making it come true so, needless to say, there will be some time that I am not hanging out in DS! Her surgery is on her spine. She has rheumatoid arthritis and her vertabrae are kind of starting to fuse so I am not sure what they are doing but hopefully it will make her move easier. Scary!

Don\'t over do things for yourself babe. I hope that your mom\'s surgery is successful, but You can\'t stress yourself out right now either!
I hear you on the dog thing. The days my dog is xtra stinky, I wish my allergies were affecting me a bit more so that I didn\'t have to smell him. He\'s got that Lab undercoat that collects EVERYTHING and just lingers on him like a little black skunk!
I also have gotten the crazy bionic nose!! My thoughts are with you and your mom. Don\'t forget that you are pregnant and need to minimize the stress. Too much stress and business is not good for baby or for you. I am usually a busy body and my husband has to keep reminding me to slow down and take it easy. You need your strength to grow a healthy baby.
I agree with CatW. Certainly be there for your mom but be sure to take time to care for yourself and your baby. This time is so critical for you and baby. My dad just had surgery part of it dealt w/removing a tumor that was resting on his spine. He\'s in rehab right now and i know it\'s very exhausting to be there and still take care of yourself at the same time (and i am only in my 2ww with no idea if i am preg or not yet) so i am trying to remind myself of the same thing to. Good luck and remember to slow down a bit.
I hope that everything goes well with your Mothers surgery. Also tell your DH to wash the dog, don\'t do it yourself, after all you need to focus on growing a human :)
Sending you and your mom and family all my thoughts. Keeping you close to my heart during this scary time.
Please know that I\'m here for you if you ever need me.
Love ~ T
