I am a little pissed off. My dear mother in law who I love so much and because I didn't feel it was fair that my mother knew about the BFP and she didn't, so I told her, but I asked her not to tell anyone. I want to get through that first US. She told everyone. I just feel like it is our news to tell. And no one has called to congratulate because she must have told them I asked her not to tell but that makes me feel like I am missing the initial reaction. I feel like I am being selfish but at the same time, my DH and I are the ones that have been fighting this war and WE should get the victory parade!! I don't know. I am glad she is excited but I still feel like some of my thunder was muted. Thoughts?

I\'m sorry your MIL is telling your great news, you should be the ones that get to tell it. It totally sounds like something my mom would do but I know she is just a very excied grandma and it\'s really hard for her to keep it to herself (some times I give her the okay to tell a couple people herself). I sure everyone is super excited for you guys!!!
I agree with you, I would be mad too! I am sure that you will get plenty of congrats once you start sharing your wonderful news. Try not to be too mad though, this is a wonderful time in your life enjoy it!
She really should of let yall tell ppl but girl dont ever be upset. Just enjoy every minute of this pregnancy . You should be happy from here on out no matter what. You are truely blessed. Good luck hon . Im sure she didnt mean to hurt you in any way .
I don\'t think that was right of your mom to do. Sounds like something my own would do. In her defense, she\'s probably just too dang thrilled to hold onto a secret that big.
