Hi everyone,
I have spent the last hour looking over the DailyStrenght website and I am just amazed at everything it has to offer, not to mention the fact that I am just a click away from being able to communicate with someone who is or has experienced something I am going through.
I chose the title for my first journal entry because I have had the knowledge of DailyStrength in my possession since 2012 and didn't even realize it. After a little more than a year of me not going to church I decided it was time for me to do what I should of been doing all along. I am firm believer in order for me to be emotionally healthy I need to be spiritually healthy, so Saturday night I got in the closet to dust off the bible and there was this tote bag full of folders. I decided I would sort through the folders, upon going through them I found papers I had received from a dialectical behavior therapy class I had taken and there in the middle of all of those papers was the web address and information about the site.
I really believe that I was blessed with this information, I guess I should have dusted off that bible allot sooner.
Oh and I went to a new church for the first time on Sunday by myself and I liked it and I will be going back. I should mention that I know the Pastor and his wife and some of the members, so going alone wasn't as hard as it could have been.

Yes, it was a God-thing you found us. I believe God does some wonderful things for us. Especially when we think He just doesn\'t care anymore. He\'s right there behind us in everything we say or do. We just need to turn around to find Him patiently waiting for us to find Him. AND YOU DID!!!!
