OK, so I haven't been on in a while for a reason. I've been sick for a while and the doctors have run test beyond tests trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Well, finally on Monday they called and said that it is either a parahyroid disease, or cancer. Either way it isn't good. I go back in for testing on Friday to determine whether or not I will need surgery. I really hope I don't. I can't help thinking how unfair it is to have cancer at 21, but hey, life isn't fair. I'll post again when I know more.

Mia, that is the most awful thing to hear but I don\'t see how it can be a parathyroid disorder I haven\'t heard of such I have heard of damage due to surgeory. The thing is until they do a Biopsy they won\'t know that you have cancer sure their are indicater such as having noudules that show up cold during an uptake exam but don\'t ruch you really don\'t want this. Not for the fact that it\'s easy to cure but the fact that afterwards you have to deal with so many other chronic issues,. God bless you and I will say a prayer for you and hope the very best.
