Time

I am keeping track of what I did "right" today, or what I did that was good for myself.  At the end of the day I acknowledge them.  I tend towards self indulgence and neglect, finding a happy medium.
The better I get in my recovery, using the 12 steps to stay sober and getting through step 1 in Al Anon with a cosponsor (YAY!), the more I depend on God and trust, the healthier my boundaries get and the more I extricate myself from those unspoken responsibilities I take on/assume/neglect/delegate, the better I am able to see those around me who are dysfunctional in ways I hadn't seen before - wanting to control, trying to have unspoken 'bargains' made with me.  Anyway I am getting better.  Al Anon is helping a lot.
Time to myself, how do I use it?  Am I wasting my time, I think not.  I am doing a lot better with watching less TV and using internet much less, which is good.  I am walking, doing yoga, taking care of my chores and my dog, eating pretty well, attending meetings, not getting caught up in T's life too much.  When I try  to take care of him and neglect myself I get into a mess.  Variations of that left to confront.
