I really wanted to go to Al Anon last night and with car needing repair I asked mom if she wanted to go and nudged her a bit, and she got a lot out of it I think.  Interesting!  On the way over we were talking about when you spot something in someone else that bothers you, you probably have it, something she pointed out - and that was a main topic in the meetings readings and shares. We stopped for some Thai chicken noodle soup.  I am still eating chicken broth as a "vegetarian" but that is the only meat I am eating for the most part for the last 7 months. Today I took the car in for the mechanic to take a look at and I must say I'm a bit fearful as I don't know how or when I'll be able to afford it.  I trust God. I'm not contacting J, and I sort of applied that principle "if you spot it, you got it" and realize by me being mad at him for not contacting me, I am not looking at myself who is doing the exact same thing!  And my ego says, I'm the girl, I shouldn't pursue, and the "He's just not that into you"  book which I love confirms that I don't want to waste my time with someone who is not pursuing me.  And I am not even really ready to date - I just like him so much and thought he liked me, and realize actions speak louder than words.  So nearly 2 weeks of no contact and still struggling a bit.
