Big days, bright times. My friend from AA turned 95 yesterday and he's 60 years sober.  I was glad to make the celebration and for his friendship.  What a joy!  He still is concerned about helping others which is probably why he's lasted so long. So I am communicating with J who I took to the concert Sunday via email and text a bit.  He is a little sneaky which I like since I don't know what's going on, but in him letting me know he is looking into things I've brought up sort of blew me away.  He seems to be better at reading me than me reading him.  It's really cool.  I told him Sunday night I was so excited to have a friend in my hometown who likes the same music as me, and he said he was stoked, too.  Music really is a big part of my life and it's awesome to have someone know what I'm talking about! Tomorrow marks the 5 year anniversary from my last smoking of marijuana! I'm really glad I got this job it is keeping me busy but not too much so, so it's kind of perfect.  I've been walking doggie in the mornings which is just lovely.  He is such a joy he has turned more affectionate thanks to me continueing to show him affection :)
