I bought a $100 worth of new clothes.  I tend towards thrift shopping.  I cannot remember the last time I spent that much money on new clothes.  I mean I am thinking a decade or more back and I can't remember!  Maybe it will come to me. I let the sponsee go.  After 6 months she is really only having me around for show, since it is a requirement for her sober living home.  I told her I felt I wasn't helping her.  She asked if I'd help her find another sponsor.  I said I'd help her.  I guess if I see someone I'll recommend her.  There aren't a whole lot of qualified women around.  It was great to follow feedback from my sponsor.  The conversation with the sponsee lead me to understand she may not be capable of honesty since I did not see things the way she presented them.  Her sober living manager had thanked me for being her sponsor a few weeks ago when he found out it was me, and told her I was a good one - he doesn't know me well enough.  She just wasn't initiating any work or getting all of the material and she is required to go to meetings and usually is walking out for half of them, she is a challenged one.  I wasn't aggressive enough to force her to do the work.  Anyway I told her she was sweet and thanked her for asking me.
