Getting into the groove of a new schedule.  It's been a long time since I've worked these hours near full time, though it's only 30 hours a week at this time - they are easing me in (thank God).  I need to go to meetings and watched WAY too much TV last night, so my gym is neglected, but I am getting walks in.  Time for laundry and cleaning?  Not much!  I require much sleep. Talked to sponsor yesterday and got some good green lights to LET GO of some things - the Al Anon sponsor whose boundaries I don't think are going to be healthy for me, a sponsee who is clearly only using me for her requirement for sober living home - she is not doing the work and I'm not helping her, and a friend I used to date who is now married and asked me to do a 12 step call on his son who has a pot problem - I told him it was an Al Anon issue, that the kid is not reaching out for help, but I did refer him to the Marijuana Anonymous website www.marijuana-anonymous.org and www.ma-online.org and remind him we're powerless over marijuana too.  He didn't respond and I got feedback from sponsor. Also I gave a ride to MA to someone who lives near me who I didn't know well, but I asked him to speak and he has many years clean.  It was awkward for me and sponsor reminded me sometimes we give rides to others in program and it may get easier.  I took her advice and drove myself instead of going in his car.  I guess it's ok to have an awkward feeling about someone I can listen to it.  It was just a stretch for me to take the 45 min drive each way and such.
