I am stunned and saddened.  I went ahead and gave notice at my job.  I have grown weary.  I do enjoy my job, I have just been overwhelmed.  I was asked to do things that I am not supposed to do because they are for someone in another position, and in complying, it contributed to my burnout.  The boss was nice and asked if I'd like to stay on as a sub and maybe fill in later or teach a class or maybe in the future if they can add a 3rd person to our one-person-at-a-time department, come back.  I said I need a break for now and yes I will. I wish I were more comfortable and confident in my decisions.  I know trusting God will help me through this.  I know there are great things about this job, and awful things, and some of them are being addressed. I'm just so sad and dissappointned, like blaming myself for not  being better able to "handle" the BS.   I wonder if I have PMS related emotional problems. I think I do. I found some homeopathy that seems to be leveling me out.  I know I have been just awful lately. I got mad at R Sunday when I went to visit and he wasn't back yet and I was kept waiting and took off mad minutes before he'd be there.  I just left my phone off for the day after I went off on him how he was disrespecting my time.  You can't get food out of an empty refrigerator.  He misleads me and it's just his irresponsibility, but it is hard as seeing it as unintentional when I am calling him on stuff he said that I don't think he means. I am tired of crying over the same guy two weekends in a row.  Same time of month? This time last month I also became "difficult" with him.  I wonder if ending this relationship is part of getting rid of what is stressing me.  I feel like the stress of the job is killing me.  I am also growing weary of the "giving" I am doing in the relationship as he doesn't have "a pot to pee in" as my mom puts it, well I am not that far ahead but, I have been generous with my time and resources and am tiring of it as it's not reciprocated. I shared at Al Anon about anger yesterday, for taking on too much responsibility and frustration for not being able to get back from who I am giving to. An email notice went out minutes after my resignation, asking others who wants the position, so a couple people asked me about it. It's just sad. I am sad about not working with the students and having a good job and good pay and time online. As for he students I am helping in math, they're being given to another instructor tomorrow.  It was not part of my job.  Two of the 4 did not show up for their midterm exam.  Very odd.  They have grown weary of the mistreatment of us all in a very poor decision to hold a class in a computer lab where I am overwhelmed with business at times. Sure enough work is finally slow tonight.  God please help.  I don't want to beat myself up for my choice, even if it wasn't the best one, it's mine and I made it because I was tired of how things were being treated and taking the brunt of it, and seeing no relief in sight.  I asked God to come with me and had decided this was my choice. Now what?  I have a few weeks to go before I will have a new opportunity ahead of me :)God pleas help.
