I have trouble making eye contact when I share in support groups.  It really bothered me when I shared today. I got up early and made some soup.  I struggle with eating meat and feeling vegetarian, not at peace with it. I went to Extreme Makeover Home Edition yesterday.  I drove about an hour into the country. It was beautiful and reminded me of my time in Oklahoma.  I saw some beautiful rainbows.  The volunteer coordinators were not taking more walk ins immediately, but ended up letting me help in their tent checking in VIP's, then I did get to go help with some landscaping.  It felt good to pick up a shovel and dig into God's earth.  It was so beautiful.  The home owners have a wild animal refuge, and I look forward to watching the episode air in a couple months or so.  I was so glad I went, and had a blast. Today I went to see R and took him my soup.  Cooking for a man is something I dont' have tons of experience in, so it was good for me to bring this out in myself, and I truly enjoyed it.  He is done with his 28 day program next week and is looking at options, and I made a suggestion he was real happy with and seems to be moving toward coming back into my area instead of staying out by the hospital where he is now in treatment.  Interesting.  Learning to not try to solve anyone's problems.  I am glad my support up to now has been strictly just being there and talking, not trying to solve any problems, and today was a little on the border. I find myself frustrated here today with some stuff I consider unsupportive.  I don't agree with the ignore button for me to use, but found myself considering it.  Take a deep breath.
