I made a phone call to find out about the sesonal position I usually do. The place is corrupt, and I have had such issues there, and being a usually nonconfrontational person it is probably better to LET IT GO. I type fast and was a top perfomer, and to think the person above me, who is corrupt, could have gone ahead and do what she does and find someone who is actually not even qualified, much to her supervisors lack of awareness, since she chooses from her people versus the top performers she is supposed to, I don't want to be part of a situation that looks away - in fact last time I was there I did stand up to some stuff that was wrong wrong wrong so maybe that is why I am not part of the party. It is ok. Let it go. Pray for her and trust God knows' what He's doing. I did get a call for a funner more local seasonal position over the holiday season I am hoping my current part time teaching job won't interfere with. YAY. I get to teach math/algebra for the 2nd time in a couple weeks, the night class until 10:15pm. I'm a little excited. I don't really like being out late in the winter months, I tend to hibernate. I love coffee the caffeine just drives me crazy and I can almost always do without it (didn't today and I am paying with the anxiety). My dear AA friend who is 94 w/ 59 years (!) sobriety is speaking tonight, and he is friends with my ex, and I dont' want my ex to be there, and if he is, I don't have to explain to anyone why I am doing what I am doing and staying away - for goodness sakes I threated him with a restraining order for not leaving me alone! So not part of the AA principles to be dealing with resentment towards him. It's like justified, he lied, decieved without conscience. I truly think he is sociopath, antisocial personality disorder because he isn't honest. The AA program says those with grave emotional and mental disorders can recover IF they have the capacity to be honest. I don't think he does, explaining why after over a dozen years trying to get sober he hasn't been able to stay sober continually. Who knows if he is still sober. Anyway I am a bit nervous. So I told this Mr Now guy I needed some space because it's like he's lining up every day to get together and do something. It's overwhelming. He seems to understand. I do like him. I'm not sure how healthy and mature he is in someways, and I don't know him all that well. The issue I see is of a lack of healthy boundaries, which are bound to affect me/us. One day at a time. If I reached out more I wouldnt' be so needy and settle for someone to meet many of my needs which I need a multitude of friends to meet.

I am glad it sounds like the new guy is really into you! but it is good, to keep up your personal space, and do what is healthy for you.
I agree your ex doesn\'t sound like he is self-aware, he sounds narcissistic and it is unnerving that he lacks remorse. I know what you\'re talking about. That sucks that you have to deal with him. I am sorry that people keep putting you in a position, to \"explain\" yourself. You could just say, \"thank you for asking\" and walk away. I have done that to family members. I hope you find a good seasonal job that is also fun! It\'s best to be in a healthy environment.
I meant to wish you a happy halloween yesterday but the internet was down, after I wrote my journal, it kicked me off. I hope you\'re having a good weekend.
