I got a phone message from my ex last night - and deleted it (first one in 2 weeks). I guess I am not "out of the woods". The "It's called a breakup because it's broken" book suggests a 60 day "he-tox" - so I am taking the suggestions. Good for me. When I wrote the good and bad qualities lists and stuff I'll miss and won't miss lists this weekend, I cried. Good for me for touching feelings that need to come out - funny all the stuff that could be in there! Got to visit with my teen niece and nephew tonight and it was so nice to socialize - I am happy they are getting bigger, it's kind of fun to share with them and relate. I had an interview with a temporary to potential permanent position that would start next week. We'll see. The job is encompassing a lot - receptionist, mail room, office related stuff - so anyway change is stressful, and exciting. I'm a little sad about the teaching job being over after next week, but who knows when they'll call me back with there being a new schedule every 5 weeks. I am also relieved it's over - I haven't had the same class twice and it is frustrating. I feel good to have fulfilled a dream and taught a psych class - I still have a lot to learn as far as improving my teaching techniques. I get to watch students' English presentations for an English class I'm helping out with this week - that is neat. I had an intersting experience w/ Mr from around here but lived away most his life. I dreamed his mom made brownies this weekend as part of a more detailed dream. I told him today about that part of it at the meeting, as I'd forgotten this detail when I mentioned it to him this weekend. When he got home his mom had made brownies. I dream journal and I am very frequently having dreams that have some kind of "prophetic" material such as this, so it didn't surprize me, yet it is still incredible. Absolutely! Yeah there is quite a bit of synchronicity going on, so it is kind of neat to have that happen with someone else who gets to experience it, too. Weird that he's into sales but also dabbles in tattooing - when I first saw him I had no idea, I mean tattoos? How could I possibly be interested in someone else who is a tattoo artist (my ex's new career)? Anyway I still wonder about if I'll ever get one - I both have and haven't wanted tattoos since childhood - I still don't have any. Here in So Cal they are everywhere - it is nice to be different and not have any, sometimes I kind of like them. I asked my ex to draw an idea of mine - he did draw something totally different and gave it to me - so much for feeling listened to or heard - oh well. Anyway I don't know what will happen about that - grateful for temporary tattoos :) I heard from an artist on myspace who says he wants to use me as an art subject, and I am intrigued. I love art modeling and have a lot of past experience doing it, and sort of put it out there to the universe that I'd like to get back into it - a sign? Anyway it has my mind racing - not to mention Mr from out of town draws and wants to draw me - maybe later - W-A-Y later. I showed mom the art model offer and she reminds me to bring someone - don't go alone. That is no fun to think it could be a creep, but mom is right - be realistic. Anyway I'll post his sight here - who knows if it is legitimate? Maybe he's drawn to my facial structure or something? I don't know http://www.hari.com/

wow, it sounds like you\'ve been busy. Cool that you taught a psych class. That was my major in college, before I discovered Drugs Sex and Rock&Roll. Also interesting re the tatoo. I also have no tatoos, and when I lived in Northern Cal., it was big there. I am basically afraid of needles. Plus with having hep-c (and never found out how I got it), I\'m so careful these days. Wish I had the busy life that you do. Going thru the bad (physical) parts of withdrawal right now, and feeling pretty sick. And still no refills from my doc, which has never happened. My past is starting to catch up to me. Good job girl!! Jackie
sounds like a lot of exciting things clicking for you, that\'s great. Good job on the he-tox! Get all those emotions out of you, and stay strong on this. Way to go! That is so cool about the brownies, wow!
It\'s uberly hard to deal with all those emotions--great job facing it! You are building your internal strength back up, gaining that will power--awesomes!
I had a very brief fling once with a tattoo artist. He had a needle thru his nose! I just couldn\'t get past that part....
I\'ve had the dream thing happen quite a bit too. It\'s amazing what the unconsious knows that it\'s not telling us!
I got suckered into doing some \'modeling\' photos once. When I showed up at the guys house, he wanted me to take my clothes off for the pics. Ugh ugh ugh. Needless to say, I left (after cursing at him for making me drive 2 hours for nothing--I was trying to get a portfolio done!) Hope you have better luck! I guess you can\'t find the real deal if you don\'t try! Sounds like things are looking up for you. Big hugs!
PS I googled Kenneth Hari and don\'t see anything that looks bad! Seems like a well-established artist! :)
