Feeling better today. I got up with puffy eyes and took my homemade cookies to women's AA, and I got to lead - open with sharing on what happened, what it was like and what it's like. It was good for me to get some support. I am dealing with a little anger towards the ex. He is being relentless with calling since last night - he left a message saying he hasn't moved on (he has a girlfriend). Anyway sociopath comes to mind. I am lucky for realizing the depths he is capable of going to, saying he wished I'd come back and stuff, with a girlfriend! Yuck. I went to my noon AA big book meeting and it felt good to share and get and give support. I had lunch and took a nice nap - sleep did not come easy last night, but I did meditate. No tears today. He even called at my volunteer work. He called dozens of times in a row on my cell phone. I don't answer. It's kidna scary - I'vebeen stalked by an ex in the past, and the fear is real - this is definitely stalking behavior. My answer is spiritual - pray and trust God. And my Mom always taught me to not be embarassed to show fear and protect myself. Anyway that's where I'm at. Here when he called at volunteer work he said "you need to listen to me and I need to talk to you". He has no respect for my boundaries. Thank God this is getting past me.

As you know we learn to pray for the wellbeing of those that we resent or that hurt as. We realize that they are very sick people as well, and we treat them as such. That does not give the other person permission to stalk or harass us - that makes recovery even more difficult. Change your phone number if you have to. Tell him you will only tolerate x amount of intrusions per day / week / month (in reality he is not entiteled to any unless it is absolutly necessary for practical reasons such as arranging to pick up personal belongings from your place etc). Protect yourself, and when you see him have a girlfriend with you. Do you already have a sponsor? Best life coach I have ever met... My thought go out to you!
That is scary, when they say, \"you need to listen to me ...\" you are in my thoughts, that you can stay strong through this difficult time! How are you doing today? hopefully things got better. The whole thing scares me! Peace!
