I got to be a substitute for an ethics class.  It seems the other subs this week have sort of failed the class - they were a few days behind and we got caught up today.  I learned how to present a "power point" slide show (pre made).  I am excited to FINALLY learn this important and extremely popular mode of transmitting information.  I am a little discouraged and very disappointed to see that the students just do NOT read their text books.  I am grateful for those students who are involved in class.  These students were not college bound and are going for specific fields and job placement.  So I am learning alot and it felt good to actually know the material I was presenting.  I feel blessed.  I had been so stressed and truly gave it all up to God and know that I have to remember to let God have a hand in things. I am home alone due to parents in Greece.  The puppy is wonderful to have as a companion.  He's a little spoiled.  I am taking care of mom's garden and her book keeping clients (doing a couple payrolls).  I got a text from the ex this week that his dad died.  Last year when he visited him out of state it was sort of the  beginning of the end for him as it was the first time he tried to be civil to him and a lot of abuse issues and post traumatic stress disorder issues started to come up.  I sent my condolences today.  My heart goes out to him and him sending me a text to "sleep well" touched me and I know I am vulnerable.  Thank God I am not already in another relationship.  I keep trying to talk myself out of my discomfort with Mr New in my life - just not feeling real comfortable in the capacity of him sort of being in this position of a "man of interest" in my life when I need to put my interest in myself and find some girlfriends. I got into some addictive internet activities this week that really upset me.  I have this tendency and I know I am not alone and I am grateful for DS for this, so much so. I have a very busy week next week with work supposedly as I will continue to sub, finally get new faculty orientation, and have stuff to do around the house.  I am grateful for my privacy here and to not feel obligated to anyone right now - as long as I let myself not feel obligated.
