I'm very grateful for Daily Strength.  Well I guess I started to get caught back up in trying to communicate w/ Mr X.  I learn he  blocks and diverts communication to avoid my questions and concerns, so it is healthier for me not to include him in my private world of thoughts and feelings.  I can tell he wants me back, he asked me back Thanksgiving night then took it back when I didn't respond.  Yet I know he also doesn't want me back because he left me.  Oh gosh!  So I am not responding again, let hanging that last text of his inquiring or wondering if I have a new boyfriend (NOT!)  Its just no use to try to communicate w/ someone who so thoroughly discounts me and my thoughts/feelings/questions/concerns/my reality.  It's such nonsense.  I do feel more closure in that I did have a moment of kind sad defense on my part to his accusations that I abandoned him or turned my back to him.  I let him know I care about him and it hurts me to see him suffering and that I love him and I am hurting and he's rejected me, not the other way around.  I just don't want to be with someone like him, he used to be so nice.  Tomorrow is the anniversary of our first platonic date turned romantic (holding).  It was nice when it started out, the love affair. I have a friend/aquaintance.  We both cut our hair (her's not so drastic) and have been through a breakup.  She said she wondered if I cut my hair to cut off my past, like her.  Anyway I see from my reading, journaling & coming here I am doing pretty good with this getting over him stuff and regaining my life back and healing & recovering.  At least I'm clean and sober through it (in recovery, first relat/break up in it).  At least I'm seeking and offering support.  And I'm getting on with my life, not wallowing in depression.  Very good for me!
