Thanksgiving was nice w/ family over.  My exbyfrnd called, to say happy thanksgiving, I said it to him then "bye".  Rrrg.  It's been so hard.  So he showed up!  I said I'd finish the dishes I was washing, we were preparing our holiday meal, my mom sort of introduced him to some of my family and he asked if he could talk to me outside.  Oh my.  I just said this is his name.  So. He waited by my car at the curb.  I went out to the sidewalk.  I asked what did he want.  He said "I need you to give me a hug".  I said I need some things too.  I said come and get it.  He said he didn't want to come to the sidewalk.  He said he wasn't going to hurt me (referring to my space from him) I said I know and "there are ways to hurt someone that isn't physical.  I asked what does he want, he said one minute.  He stood there.  I asked why did he come, he said he wasn't going to contact me again.  He said he wanted to see me.  I said well here I am look at me.   So the hug was long and he went to pull away several times.  Then he left.  Oh for dramatic effect he told me he walked here (He lives at least 3 miles away and is not a walker typically).  After this I turned my phone off, after I cried a little and went inside and wrote in my journal.  the family meal was nice.  It was nice that my aunt said to not let him upset me, that I deserve the best, while I finished my dishes.  I do like that I did not drop everything to run to him.  It was so awkward w/ my family there and how I'd never introduced him to my sister's family before and I didn't get the chance today.  Hed text messaged me and called to say happy thanksgiving, this after over a week ago a barage of angry text messages and then a retraction when I didn't respond, and a statement that he wouldn't contact me.  Oh well.  I'm not sure what to make of it all, just that I had a very hard day and week and weeks missing him, and I have not had any closure with him and this was not the time to do it.  I wonder if I'll leave my phone off tonight!

I truly believe your aunt is correct, you do deserve better. And you shouldn\'t let him upset you. I get the feeling he enjoys invading your time and space. If you displays that\'s he getting to you,that\'s fuel for him to keep coming to you. So do your damnest to not show how you feels, when he put on this kind of behavior. I also think you did a good job handling this situation. Remember, your future is ahead of you so looks and move forward. May God continue to Bless one of his children.

I agree with your aunt too, I\'m not sure why he\'s playing that game but it sounds like you\'re handling it appropriately. I like what you did with the dishes too.
