I am struggling. I have thyoglobulin antibodies and would like to know if anyone else is struggling with being haunted by these antibodies. Unfortunately, I had papillary thryroid cancer a year and a half ago and found out all at once that I also had hashimoto's as well as goiter and one lobe of my thyroid was papillary carcinoma and 3 of four lymph nodes had a trace of cancer which were removed. I had RAI treatment as well as total thyroidectomy and now have these antibodies. I live in fear of cancer everyday and it ruins my life.

it is hard enough struggling with the tired feeling this disease gives us so if you can turn it over to God then it is so much easier. I don\'t know your faith but to me it is the only way to get through anything in life. blessings in Jesus. hugs Diane
Thanks Diane. I am catholic and I do believe in God, but I am still afraid to die and do not want my son to grow up without me and I feel like I just began my life at 34 years old and don\'t feel ready for it to end. It is hard for me not to think about. I fear the thyroid cancer coming back as well as getting other cancers now from all of the exposure to radiation with the treatment and tests. Also, if you are tired, I too had that problem. I ask my endocrinologist to switch my medication from synthroid to armour thyroid and tired wise I am back to my old self. I don\'t ever feel tired and have had a thyroidectomy. God bless you too. Tricia
I went to see the ENT and he told me I also have thyroglobin antibiotics. I\'m not sure how that will affect everything. I go in for a Nuclear Medicine consult on 4/2 and expect to start RAI on 4/9.
Hi, I hope you are coping with everything better now. I had papillary thyroid cancer last year and had my thyroid removed and then radioactive iodine. Ufortunately my antibodies became high again after these treatments. We were waiting for the next blood test when I broke my back and was rushed to hospital. They found an abdomalitiy in my spine and had to remove a vertibrae. It was found to contain cancerous thyroid tissue. I a now booked in for more radioactive iodine in May, but my most recent blood test has shown an even higher level of antibodies, meaning the cancer has probably spread elsewhere. I have three kids under 5 and am starting to get a little depressed now. So I know what you are going through. Hang in there.
