Aparrantly the adoption process with this rescue shelter is a little like adopting a child, and tonight I went out to dinner and shopping with my friend and missed the call from the rescue place. They do a phone interview and also a home visit. I'm so bummed I missed the phone call. Hopefully I get to talk to them before the dog I want is gone. I prefer a basset and Maisy just looks so lonely I want her.

I remember when we got my golden retriever, and that was from a breeder. We had to prove that our yard was fenced in, that she had plenty of room to excercise. It was unbelievable, but I guess we should be glad they are looking our for the best interests of the dog/cat. I truly hope you get her, you would be a great MOM!!! Good luck, Alice
