Today was the tournament, what a great day. It went great. Bruces friends team won 2nd place and gave me the trophy. Its sitting on my bar right next to his urn. I know he would be beaming. A few of the guys havnt played for a while so there were a few injuries. Nothing major except one of the guys may have popped his shoulder but was too macho to have it checked out he was mending it with a few beers and played crooked for the rest of the tournament. The weather held out until the last game. And it was a light rain so was actually quite refreshing. A bunch of the guys came back to the house after and we had a fire and sat around remenicing. Everyone said they had a great time and want to make this an annual event. The newspaper came but only interviewed a couple of guys. So I'm not sure about the story line. Oh ya they had me throw the first pitch and when they announced who I was I got a standing ovation. I was so proud to be Bruces wife at that moment I thought I was going to cry. I was so glad they did this I dont think there has been anything that has made me so happy in the last 15 months.

Lori, I am happy and proud for you. You had a wonderful man, and I cannot imagine loosing a husband. I at least had my sweet James to help me when my sons died. I would feel kinda lost without him. You are sounding better. I know you will have hard days, but I think you are really making steps forward. Love.Peggy
