Yesterday I was a mess. Broke down crying many times at work last night. I dont really think it was Bruces death, but well I guess it is Bruces death. Its that This is the first time I really felt like I was alone. Any time I had a health issue Bruce was there. When I had my gall bladder out 5yrs ago he took care of me.We missed family Christmas and he was ok with that he didnt want to leave me alone. About 9 years ago we lost a baby and he took care of me and was just as sad as I was. And then last year the drs. found a mass behind my chest cavity and Bruce was so strong. I didnt even know how worried he was.The drs. kept doing test and sending me to different drs. until they ordered a PET scan and found it wasnt cancerous. When the dr.said the test was negative Bruce jumped up and hugged him and started to cry. Bruce was not one to hug a guy for no reason. And that was the first time I realized how scared he was for me. I know on Monday the drs. may find my arteries are not clogged and I could be fine, but this has made me realize for the first time in 11mos and 1 day that for the rest of my life I am going to be facing these challenges alone. I dont have Bruce with me to make it al better

We are here for you and wish we could be there to take care of you. I understand how hard it is to be alone and sick. Been there lots since my Ken has been gone. Sorry that you have to deal with this alone. But remember that we are here for each other and will support you as best we can.

Hi Lori. My heart goes out to you having to face these medical situations alone. I hate just having to do the ordinary mundane things that my husband always did for me. I can\'t imagine what it\'s like to face something as serious as what you are facing by yourself. You\'re in my prayers. -Linda

I know how you feel, a couple of years ago I had surgery for endometriosis and he took a week off and helped me with everything I needed. Hauled me out of bed to use the bathroom etc.. I have been having some pain again but the thought of going through surgery without him here is impossible.. Doesnt God know I still needed him here with me?.......We can get through this somehow.

It is hard. I have always had Steve to count on and this last year I haven\'t. Being sick is bad enough without the comfort of them. Big Hugs to you.

Lori, It is hard to face sickness, or any kind of life cahllenges now without them by our side. Jesse and I use to baby each other when one of us was not feeling well or facing a medical issue, I sure do miss that.
Even though we may not live close to each other, know that we are all here to help you as best we can. Lots of Love going your way....Stella
