Today I am missing Bruce so much.I keep trying to stay away from this dark place I am in right now.I know I'm going to visit here on occasion, but I feel so much better when I'm not here.Call it denial, call it what ever you want but I like it so much better when I believe I'm healing and getting on with my life.I always miss Bruce.I just can't stand the longing to have him back.I dont want to spend the rest of my life being sad all the time. It's a feeling I've never been comfortable with.Hopefully going to work this afternoon will snap me out of it.Even if i'm just hiding the pain.I've been pretty good at that.

Better yet to try to go thru the pain, then try to avoid it. Sounds silly, but it has a way of creeping up and biting you on the (you know what). I find myself still after almost 7 months slipping back to denial, then I get mad at myself and then remind myself to be gentle with myself. Like I have said I wish I could get to that control panel in my brain. Wishing you the best for a good weekend. Love, Alice
I know hon, you should do what makes you feel the most comfortable.
I\'m a mess today - again......just from talking to a good friend on the phone, but I\'m pushing myself up and out of the door......because I have to do that for myself.....Shaun would want me to. Take care, always in my thougts & prayers.
Can\'t avoid the pain, no matter how much we try , it\'s always there.
My husband Jesse died suddnely of a massive heart attack at the age of 54 November 2, 2006.
We had dinner that evening, we laughed, we talked, everything was fine. Then a couple of hours later he\'s gone. No time for anything, no last goodbye\'s, no last kiss or hug.
Even after 15 months the pain of that night is still so raw for me. I just can\'t understand the \"WHY\".
My faith, Jesse\'s strength, my wonderful children and my beautiful grandchildren are the reason\'s I am still here.
It\'s tough, really tough but we have to go on, for our husband\'s.
Those who have lived in our hearts are never really gone.
As long as we keep them with us, in our hearts and our thoughts, they will be with us always.
For love, which is timeless, never ceases to exist.
God Bless you my Dear friend. Warm Hugs filled with love, comfort and hope for better day\'s going your way...Stella
Thanks guys for all your help!
