Here we go again.I talked to my son and he hates it in Orleans and doesnt know where to go and what to do.He got arrested lastnight and it cost 300 bucks to get him out.He is kind of stuck between being young and having fun and being grown up.He wants to settle down and have a permanent place to live one day, then party and travel the next. He's always trying to run from problems but they keep catching up with him.Until he stops being punk,I think bad luck is going to keep finding him.I hate to say it but the way he looks is just asking for trouble. It's unfair because he is really a good kid. He's volunteering to build houses for the homeless and works in soup kitchens for crying out loud. When he's basically homeless himself. But because of the way he looks and dresses he is judged by that.I'm glad he chooses to be himself but I've been watching him suffer for it for years. It breaks my heart.I wish he would just come home.He says thanks but no thanks. He hasn't lived at home since he was 18,he's 25 now so for 7 and a half years i've been watching him make one bad decsision after another.I'm so worried about him. He's gonna drive me to drink.

Is there any way you could talk him into getting some form of counseling. Its like he is such a great, caring, special kid who has just lost sight of direction right now. Similiar to what we are going thru. My heart goes out to you as a parent I know that when our children suffer, we suffer along with them. Strength and hugs to you today. Love, Alice
Hi, I\'m sorry you\'re having these problems, it seems he hasn\'t found a direction in life - and is doing what he thinks is best for him. There are a lot of young people out there - who have no idea - exactly what to do.
Of course you\'d like him home, where you can protect him, but he\'s the one that has to make that decision - I\'m sure he is a good person, and you\'re right, people are discrimanted over the way they look -
Sad, but true. One day I\'ll share a story with you about my 29 year old niece - but for now - I\'ll keep you both in my prayers - and pray that his situation gets better. Love you.
