A new friend wrote me a message on DS yesterday, saying she had read my profile and that I didnt need to feel guilty for not knowing how to save Bruce. It has been a few months since I joined DS.and didnt give my profile too much thought in a while. So I decided to change it a little.I took the feeling guilty part off.I now believe there was nothing I could have done for him.It was his time to go.He longed to see his brother again and now he has.I feel like I have found peace.I cry while I right this, but I've come to learn this is how it is meant to be.I will always have sadness when I think of Bruce.I'll miss his arms around me ,making me feel safe and loved.I'll miss his goofy laugh.I'll miss the good times we had together. But I will go on.I will survive and be strong again.I will always cherish the memories I have of this wonderful man,my loving, caring husband. But I will never feel guilty for not saving his life.I am not God.There was nothing I could do.I know that now.
