Bad Day
I just had the worst possible day! Many of these over the last 3 weeks. Just when I think I'm a mature intelligent person, I start cursing God, swearing and gnashing my teeth! I'm trapped in my body for sometimes 8 hours, feel faintwalking to the bathroom and having the nausea/ heatstroke thing every time I change position!!
Yet I have some good things in my life ((that's when I feel like an ungrateful bitch).
Anyway, had to vent. Thx again to all the great DS friends.
Grrrr!,

I\'ve been a pretty ungrateful bitch myself (and fairly often). It sounds like you are suffering a lot. It\'s bound to stress even the most mature of us. God can take your anger. It\'s OK to tell Him what He already knows. You\'re sick and your angry about it. I get angry at God too sometimes, but I find that when I finish my rant, there is a quietness, a silence. And then, He is there and I don\'t fight Him. I just let Him be there with me. I\'m quiet like a weaned child and I can finally rest my soul for a moment in Him. I don\'t know why we have to suffer this terrible disease any more than I know why little children are starving or why people are abused and degraded. But the one thing I have come to believe is that none of that evil is a sign that God doesn\'t love me. That\'s not the meaning of evil, but all too often it\'s the meaning we seem to take from it. Make sure to take an electrolyte drink in the mornings. It might help the dizziness some. Blessings on you, dear woman. I do hope you will be able to walk without so much dizziness.
Triunfadora said it for me! She sure did. God loves you, friend. And no one knows why we have to suffer like this. But if you read the Book of Job, you\'ll probably end up saying \"I\'ll stick with what you\'re teaching me now, Lord\". I pray that you are able to get out of the misery/anger thing. I hate it when I get like that. And it does happen at least once every crash.
It\'s ok. God must smile down on us when we rant. It\'s ok. It\'s lamenting!! David did it all through the Book of Psalms.
So!! Lament away. God knows, He loves you, He\'ll get you through this bad time.
Thinking of you!! xoxo
The main thing I shout at God when I feel so miserable is: WHY, WHY, WHY? Not sure if I would feel any better if there was an answer to all my suffering. I agree with Darla - the Psalms are a good example of lamenting. I love the Psalms for that reason! Hope you are getting some relief soon.
I understand your frustration pouty, it\'s just too much to take a lot of the time.I suffer with sleep problems and pray to God for just sleep. Then I talk to him and say\" Please God, you know I\'m not a bad person, so why can\'t you just help me sleep, I don\'t ask for anything else of you.Sometimes when I am sobbing, I lash out and say\" You\'re not really there are you, you\'re just a big illusion and I hate you.Anyway if he is omnipotent, then he can handle anything.A friend of mine lost his precious young son to cancer, the boy died in his arms.My friend is one of those incredibly kind giving people and very spiritual by nature. He told me he was very offensive and swore and cursed God when he lost his boy.He then commented that he was fine with what he had done because God understands everything.
It\'s not always easy to feel gratitude and count our blessings either pouty, when we are collapsed in our bodies and feeling left behind as life speeds by . It\'s understandable to feel angry or cheated of life . It\'s hard to keep persevering when suffering so much with a chronic illness.Often I feel like I am just a crying machine and the tap doesn\'t close. At least we have each other to lean on.Hang in there, ,remember there\'s strength in numbers and there sure are a lot of us my friend.Hope things improve, hugs, Di xo
Pouty, I am glad that you\'re being real about your feelings. Most of the people I know pretend that everything is fine, and when I try to talk about what a rotten day I\'m having, I get the \"you\'re feeling sorry for yourself\" speech. Makes me want to slap that person. That air of superiority drives me up a wall. I would rather hear the truth...the bare bones truth. I think we have an advantage over other people. We understand how frustration can cause us to say or think things we don\'t want to. It\'s rare for me to find a person who would \"tell it like it is\" in the moment.
Thank you for reaching out to me, and I am so glad that you are having better times. They are so precious.
