Rough day

Ok.  Went to the doctor.  Got a prescription for anti-depressants.I just want the pain to end.First, my wife treats me like a child.I move out, and it all magically dissapears. She's a sweet, kind, caring person, who's trying to respect my obvious mental distress. Then my best friend tells me that her life will be better without me in it - I"m not to contact her anymore. My kids'll get along fine without me - they have their mother.  And the rest of my family is very supportive of her.My best friend and I did everything together - music, acting, shopping.  Now I'm just magically not supposed to think about her when I shared at least some aspect of every part of my life with her.  And they're all the positive things in my life.  All the things that bring me joy, I shared with her.  Now in order to have joy, I have to face the loss fresh again.Hell, even new things - she was always encouraging me to eat better, to exercise, to get outside and do something physical... I can't even take up new hobbies without pain. And through it all, my wife is there.  waiting patiently for me to call.  Either like a good wife, or like a spider in her web.  I just don't know!I can't focus on work, my weight is plummeting, I can barely keep food down...I'm seeing councellors, and talking with the one person I can still count on, and now taking antidepressants.... but it just hurts so much.  I'm so alone.  And I'm waiting for the next shoe to drop - I'm sure there will be another one.

i know you have posted since this time....
are you still taking the antidepressants?
im confused...is your wife your best friend or are you talking about two different people? So heres the deal if you are talking about two differerent people... if you are not happy in your life, it is time to change your life....if your wife is not making you happy, sometimes you have to let go...i had to let go of my husband and i loved him so much but I am so much happier now and glad i made the decision...time changes everything...
