I may be in the wrong support group. Please forgive me is I am. I want to be respectful of everyone's journey.
I have been widowed for nine years now. I truly believe I have done the important footwork to heal.Yes, I still have times of sadness, and anger.
I do not want to be alone anymore . I fulfilled my responsibilities to my children as our youngest was still a teenager when Bruce died.
I need help with either accepting that I will be alone the remainder of my life UGH or doing the leg work to find another partner.

Why do you feel you may be in the wrong support group? I\'m sorry if we haven\'t been there for you or dis-respectful in some way. Is it because you\'ve been widowed for so long? A lot of our older members (not as in age, but widow/widowerhood) still have issues also with sadness and anger along with questioning \"moving on\". Perhaps if you posted a discussion on this it might bring a few of the what we call \"old timers\" out of the closet with their take on things. Just a thought. BTW, it\'s okay to not want to be alone anymore!! Hugs, Dayna
Oh! thank you so very much,Dayna. Yes, it is because I have been widowed so long now. As you said, issues come up and I am so grateful to have found this site and all of you.People expect you to \'\'be over it\'\' after nine years. I don\'t know how to post a discussion as I just found you. I sure do appreciate your kind words.
