I am sooooo excited. First let me say what a horrible night it was last night....finally got my little sttled down & fast asleep in my bed by 2am. She stopped vomitting which was a huge relief to both of us! However, I was awoken at 5:20am to her crying & saying "Mommy?" I discovered that she had had a bout of diarhea in my bed. So up we got...cleaned her up, changed sheets, put my brand new comforter that can only be dry cleaned in a bag cause it reaked & crawled back into bed around 6am. Had set the alarm for 8am since he was coming over to watch her & was going to be late due to a meeting he couldn't get out of. He told me last night it should only be about a half hour long & should be here by 9:45am. He only arrived at 10:35 am & I had had to call work & explain that I would be even later than I had first stated So upon arriving at work at !0:50 am, I was brought in the office & given a "talking" to regarding work responsibilities & absenteeism. I proceeded to break down in my supervisors office due partly to the lecture but also in responce to very limited sleep through the previous night.... I made it through the remainder of the day by floating...I actually felt stoned all day from lack of sleep!! But this afternoon I arrived home & checked my mail & it was there!!!!!! My acceptance letter from NBCC St. Andrew's that I've been accepted into the course I want for September '08!!!!!! He was still here but I didn't even tell him...how sad that the first person I have shared good or happy news with for the past 10 years, I didn't even tell....but I am SO happy right now & it feels great to put a green smiley face on my profile for once!!!!!!
