So much has been happening since I wrote last!! After last Friday night, I backed right off with him. He had mentioned that he was confused after what had happened so I didn't want to add to it. He sent me an Email on Wednesday asking about me changing back to my maiden name. I had mentioned this to our daughter awhile back & she apparently mentioned it to him. He wanted to know if he needed to change the name on his life insurance policy...I thought this was wierd for him to email about but I responded & only answered his question. So then he emails again & asked if I was OK after Friday night. I responded that I was fine & asked how he was. So he replies that he is confused but that he'd get over it & he added an "LOL". So, that was it for emails. Later that night, I was feeling frisky & decided to tease him via text again & messaged him with a naughty message. Had him hook, line & sinker! But he was still at work (at 10pm) & had to finish things. By the time he was done, I was tired & going to bed. He then starts texting & asking questions about whether I had been dating or seeing anyone. Had I slept with or kissed anyone, etc. Skip ahead, went to bed at 2:30 am after texting all night & then texted all the next day while both of us were at work. It was so much fun & exciting! I went over to his place Thursday night & we cuddled & talked. I've missed him so much....just even his friendship & company. We talked about what the future might hold but both of us agree that we cant have any expectations right now. Today he emailed me & told me that he wants us to go for counselling in 6 months together. He wants the 6 months to figure himself out & straighten things out & also so we can each continue with our personal growth before trying to put our marriage back together. I think it's a good plan & I'm very excited that things have taken such a turn for the more positive!!

Hi Pam, I sure hope, for your sake, that the ex\'s interest in counselling in sincere. Of course, you know him best, so that\'s for you to judge. It certainly does sound like something positive could come from it. Are the children aware of this potential, or are you keeping that hush-hush for the moment? I don\'t know how old they are, so I suppose that could make my question less important.
Anyway, I\'m equally excited for both of you. I\'m sure for some, a separation can be just that, a trial separation to allow one or both parties to re-group, and perhaps come to an appropriate realization, that either the marriage will work or won\'t work.
Thinking positives thoughts for the both of you. Rob.
