So, I got the call this morning... He went out last night with a friend, got seperated, realized he didn't have his phone and called me to see if I could give him his friend's cell phone number!!!

Oh, Geez!

No, I don't have his friend's cell phone number and where did you put your cell phone...? He couldn't remember and, in fact, he couldn't remember about four hours worth of stuff. Okay, now that is bad.

So, me to the rescue since I'm such the Golden Retriever. Drove 1/2 hour at 5:45 this morning, got turned around, had to get gas and finally found the place... no thanks to the incorrect directions I received from the gas station attendant!!!

At least he's safe... Does that make it okay?

Im sorry but I grew up in that, I hate alcohol, my son is now an alcoholic, and I wish you\'d be free of him. You dont deserve it. Neither does your daughter. Turn into a rabid pittbull and get your needs met.

You did fail to mention that you aren\'t his keeper. I have the same issues with my STBX, part of why I have stayed so long is that I worry how he will take care of himself. Why is that my problem? Why was this your problem? Sounds like he needs to finish growing up.

Hahaha, MissChels, you are right!!! My dog is half pit and he\'s not being a very good roll model!!!

Like, pangea, I think I\'ve stayed as long as I have because I feel, at least with me, he\'s partly safe...? I got him home safe when we went out... I paid/pay all the bills. He will fail without me... or so I thought for so long... Not anymore... he\'s a big boy... he\'s made his bed, he can lie in it.

Is that pitbull enough... I hope?

Geez! He can fall flat on his face, I don\'t see why you should care.

Is that your dog in the picture?

Oh, I guess I care because we have to sell our home together and he has such a volatile personality that I\'m a wee bit afraid of him up and falling out of society if I push... anything.

So far things are amicable and he\'s working to get my daughter and I into a place once we sell the house... so many factors....

Hard to let go hu? But may be you should think about changing your number so you can get a good nights rest, did you leave him because he was a drunk?

Did anyone ever tell you , your too nice? I would of probably left him to find his own way home. Thats just me though. Not to say it would ever happen but, if the roles were reversed would he of done that for you? Has/was your relationship with him always been one sided? Continue to do for me? Theres always pros and cons to any relationship, but is he really going to help you and your daughter? Or is that just a way for him to get what he can from you? Sorry, i don\'t mean to be so negative. I\'ve had and still am having a VERY difficult time w/ my ex. I wouldn\'t want to see you go through it. I hope you have a good day:)
