I had a pretty productive weekend, amazingly enough. The stbxh actually was motivated to do something... huh, could it be because we have to sell the house, our home, the only home our daughter has ever known?
Okay, I'm being dramatic, but still!!!
We cleaned out the garage and half the attic... 18 years of shit accumulated and I have to part with it. Memories, keepsakes, well and the junk too. We also gutted the backyard of weeds and trimmed.
He NEVER does any of that stuff... trying to throw out the trash with his wife??? Okay, sorry, being dramatic again and I know that's not what he feels, but...
...at least it was a productive weekend.
Still sort of floating on the excitement of the support group meeting on Wednesday, so I shall leave my head as OK and not horrible like last week....

I\'m sorry you had to deal with getting rid of a lot of stuff in the garage. I\'m sure that felt like crap. When I was moving, I went through a bunch of stuff, cards, etc., trying to decide if any of it had any meaning anymore. Not a good place to be, emotionally!

Yeah, totally!!! I won\'t have any storage room when I move so it\'s just so difficult to part with my memories.
In actuality, though, since they are shared memories they really don\'t mean anything anymore since they are tainted by his leaving anyway.

Thanks for your comment....Anytime you need to vent, I\'m here as well. You have such a beautiful little girl. Love your dog as well. I have 2 dogs...cocker spaniel and miniature daschund...and 5 cats. I am an animal person. They are very helpful in difficult times as well. Take care.
